The regularity has been, once again, that has tipped the balance in favor of Ivan Pascual in the national team of the World Chocolate Masters that ended yesterday, in the Gastronomic Forum of Girona. The verdict of the jury, chaired by Daniel Alvarezno, has only made this aspect of his task clear, but also the assurance that he has shown during his participation.

The chef from Almenar, Ivan Pascual, today presented some details of his participation in the Grand International Final of the World Chocolate Masters, an event that brings together the best chefs from 21 countries and will take place next October in Paris.

Ivan Pascual, from Desserts Workshop Cal Gumer in Almenar, has been chosen as one of the eight Spanish finalists of the world chocolate creativity contest, World Chocolate Masters.

The state final will be held on 19, 20 and 21 November at the Gastronomic Forum of Girona and the winner will participate next year in the world final of the same competition in Paris.


The theme proposed by Cocoa Barry for the next World Chocolate Masters edition goes far beyond a simple theme selected at random for a contest. To translate into a work of art and taste as it will be confectionery and the chocolate shop in the future is undoubtedly a challenge.
